Its an ironic statement
If she was my BFF she would still be there. The truth is, I wanted her gone.
I was tired of her. Plain and simple. The break up happened unceremoniously over a quick online chat conversation, with me being reticent and her claiming tears. She accused me of being unemotional, I do not see how she could have known from half way across town what I was thinking or feeling and this added to my aggravation as she had been putting emotions into my mind for a while.
Having gone through several months of personal reflection and deciding IF i really wanted to be told what I was thinking or feeling by another person. I had decided that I had had enough people dictating my moods to me.
So, in as quick a succession as I did with my ex, I jumped at the opening to end things and took it up and moved on.
